Welcome to She Travels Alone

Welcome to “She Travels Alone,” a space where wanderlust meets the lens, and every path leads to a new perspective.

I am the voice behind this journey. A wanderer at heart, my passion for solo travel has taken me across oceans and continents, weaving through the cultures and landscapes that define our beautiful world. The year 2010 marked a pivotal chapter in my life, a year dedicated entirely to exploring the globe. From the sun-drenched shores of Greece to the historic ruins of Italy, from the romantic boulevards of Paris to the vibrant streets of Amsterdam, Berlin’s cutting-edge aura, and London’s regal charm—I’ve embraced each city’s unique story. I’ve wandered through the mystical landscapes of Scotland, working at a bed and breakfast for six weeks, and soaked up the rich heritage of Ireland.

This blog, “She Travels Alone,” is my canvas and chronicle. Here, I’ll share the highs and lows of traveling solo as a woman, the breathtaking moments caught through my camera, and the insights gained from each step taken on foreign soil. Whether you’re a seasoned solo traveler or contemplating your first trip alone, I hope to inspire and empower you with stories, tips, and a shared love for the globe’s vast wonders.

Join me as I recount tales of solitude and discovery, and perhaps you’ll be inspired to embark on your own solo adventure.

I am excited to announce a special feature: an archive of “Naomi’s Great Escape.” This series encompasses the blogs and photographs from my extensive travels in 2010. Over the coming weeks, I will begin sharing these previous adventures, offering both a nostalgic look back at my journey and a treasure trove of insights and visuals. Each post will bring to life the experiences, the landscapes, and the moments that shaped my solo travel ethos. Stay tuned as I dust off the old memories and bring them into the present, inviting you to journey through time and travel with me once more.

Cheers, Naomi
